Our thread was called "Our Club Website (Spen Valley)" It was a really useful thread which guided us to many other clubs in the U.K. Without this thread we would not have found them, and we have met many other friends and enjoyed their club web sites too. Why our thread was removed I will never know. It seems to me, that after reading the fact that two other threads have also been deleted, we have had our freedom of speech, our rights and our sense of belong over ruled by one person. And, by the way, this one person has not replied to a PM as to why this thread was removed ! I will leave it at that. I have a question for the members of this site. WHY? is it that nearly every thread on this site turns into a lets have a go at someone. Andrew asked for direct herman beverdam pigeons and some of you start and put down Hermans pigeons. After 20 years in pigeons it still baffles me to why most in our sport are so BITTER. I live in Yorkshire and if i knew/thought an indvidual member was lining their own pocket or taking 10% i would personally make it business to remove them and most definatly wouldn't air my views on the net without hard evidence

Mine neither and it does annoy you.But nobody ever takes the cause of any problem to task cause then it may affect them and all those who say they agree with you retract back into their holes

PIGEON POLITICS!!!!!!! It is the killer of our sport no matter where you live but,most members are too blind to see it unless it affects their own performances.

In fact we have a 05 van reet cock from louella ,cost 20 quid when we went for a ride out to louella one sunday morning, he has 2nd club & fed 100 miles 1st club 15th fed 200 miles and 4th club 23rd fed 200 miles plus other minor cards and bred a cock that scored as a youngen and yearling and i think will be one of our best cocks this year. Remember louella buy the best, so you have a good chance of getting some goodens. Murphy

We have had some good birds from louella and if you get 1 decent one out of the six you have done ok for £99.

Chris does feed alot of barley. I personally feel barley is the most under rated grain we feed and people should listen carefully when fanciers like chris start to talk about its use and qualities.

POITIERS 500 miles, clocked 3 on day and only 5 in club on day and 44 in fed on day , best day racing pigeons yet, hope we can repeat again this year. 2, 4 year old cocks on widowhood and 1 ,2 year old natural hen. Murphy

Unsure of the distances but fanciers in scotland have some of the best distance birds,they cross the water and then have all the land obsticles to face, hawks, weather and the hilly land as they come up the country. Murphy

I feed 50% barley once they have laid for approx 10 days then back on full breeding mix. Bamfords breed & wean, extra maple peas, Homoform,layers pellets and usual grit,mins and pickpots. Murphy
