  2. well done to all entrants and winners :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  3. any news of the winners yet?
  4. to far back in my opinion to go in the stock loft, apple never falls far from the tree! imo when studs sell pigeons generations from the actual pigeons that raced never mind the champions, the racing instinct is bred out of the pigeons and they become homers winning the odd prize on a lucky day!
  5. some do, they dont want to make same mistake twice
  6. too diluted, i have closer bloodlines
  7. there maybe still in the strath bar! lol :emoticon-0167-beer:
  8. havnt heard anything yet? pretty sure a fed meeting will be arranged soon??

no disrespect buddy, but maybe you should have researched this further before posting???
  13. definetly not outta bottle!
  14. fed topper awol of the loft this year! my hen that won 61st Open SNFC Clermont 541 miles in 2011, was lost at 90 miles this season! :(
  15. until we hit alnwick! ^_^
  16. aye that includes arniston, 43 miles... 50p per bird!
  17. locked up till spring now, mobile avairies for bathing purposes and sunning on good days...
  18. best racing we ever had...
  19. your question has probably been quite genuine, but you should really think twice how you word a comment before posting...
  20. best racing we ever had with minimal losses, birdages in excess of 10,000 some weeks! that reduced the clashing for starters... percy would still have a stab but i reckon the impact would also be reduced... costs on saving fuel and wages would be slashed... a very common sense approach for the fuure of pigeon racing here in Scotland! :scotland:
  21. ceratinly been a tough old season with some of the worst 'pigeon weather' on record, young bird losses ceratinly not improving... imo the one and only way forward would be for all smaller feds to start convoying together, this would improve racing with bigger birdages and cut the crippling costs faced by members with levies as we struggle to keep old transporters on the road which are becoming 'heart breaking' to repair! it will come one day so why not start now... if not fanciers will be forced out the sport purely on finance reasons, never mind PERCY!
  22. national racing into lanarkshire certainly seems to be tough game, put the best lanarkshire lofts nearer the east coast and i'm pretty sure they would be knocking on the door soon enough... lanarkshire doos are ceratinly good enough, look at this year YB result!
