ASSEMBLY
The Perry Green Falcon Scarer is very simple to build. The 50mm Chamber should be cut around 1.2 metres, but can be as short as a metre and still perform well. It is a matter of preference. The barrel should also be around 1.2 metres. Drill a hole for the tyre valve and attach it to the end-cap, before it is glued in place. When all pieces are arranged, prime and glue. Let the completed cannon sit for 48 hours at least, before filling with air, to allow the solvent to set or you will risk destroying the joints.
OPERATION
To operate the cannon, fill the air chamber to 50 p.s.i using an air compressor of some sort. An air gauge is useful, but an ordinary tyre gauge is okay too.
When pumped up, all you do is put the required projectile (a piece of fruit or a ball will suffice). Then brace yourself and turn the lever of the ball valve to the on position very quickly. Whoosh! Good luck.
