    Pylons

Can anyone help my friend with any information regarding lofts situated under or next to electrical pylons; the council has sold the land his lofts were on and the nearest piece of land is under/next to pylons. Does the pigeons suffer, will he suffer? Any information would be gratefully received, thank you

  14. Just a piece of infor Darren: CRIME: While the Bahamas has a relatively low crime rate, visitors should exercise caution and good judgment. Although most criminal incidents take place in a part of Nassau not usually frequented by tourists (the "over-the-hill" area south of downtown), crime and violence has moved into more upscale tourist and residential areas. Criminals also target restaurants and nightclubs frequented by tourists. The most common approach for criminals is to offer victims a ride, either as a “personal favor” or by claiming to be a taxi, and then robbing and/or assaulting the passenger once they are in the car. Visitors should take care to ride only in licensed taxis, identifiable by their yellow license plates. In the last year the U.S. Embassy has received several reports of sexual assaults, including assaults against teen-age girls. Most assaults have been perpetrated against intoxicated young women, some of whom were reportedly drugged. To minimize the potential for sexual assault, the Embassy recommends that young women stay in groups, consume alcohol in moderation or not at all, ride only in licensed taxis, and not accept rides or drinks from strangers. Travelers should avoid walking alone after dark or in isolated areas, and avoid placing themselves in situations where they are alone with strangers. Be cautious on deserted areas of beaches at all hours. Hotel guests should always lock their doors and should never leave valuables unattended, especially on beaches. Visitors should store passport/identity documents, airline tickets, credit cards, and extra cash in hotel safes. Avoid wearing expensive jewelry, particularly Rolex watches, which criminals have specifically targeted. Use only clearly marked taxis with yellow license plates and make a note of the license plate number for your records. The legal age in the Bahamas for consumption of alcoholic beverages is 18. Parents should be aware, however, that enforcement of the drinking age is weak. It is easy for teenagers to obtain alcoholic beverages and underage drinking is prevalent. Many of the arrests, accidents and violent crimes suffered by U.S. citizens in the Bahamas involve alcohol. Leave your Rolex at home mate ;D
  15. I converted my 8x 6 garden shed and i'm well pleased with it. Many generous fanciers helped with birds, training etc...i bought a second hand quartz benzing from Pigeon Network for 55 pounds which was a bargain and i've remember to past the good deeds on with giving all my not wanted books, pc games, PS games, clothes etc to charity shops, the more you give without thinking of a return seems to repay you back with more.

  23. Humans are a herd race and follow the group because they feel safe and secure within the group. Naturally there are more losers than winners every week so the the losers(followers) feel secure within their group talking about the bad trap, next doors barking dog, er indoors mother etc while the winner sits alone or with thinking fliers who have the strength to be independent. Remember that these fliers have been conditioned to act in this way from early childhood when they picked on the brainbox kids at school; those kids were a challenge to the group, they were different!! Just be a good winner and an even better loser ;D

    NFC Auction

Prettyjohn is a good flier in the Plymouth area and has some very good birds though he has been stuffed nearly every week by the Fed Topper of Plymouth Roger Cutforth!!! ( Read Squills 2007 ) Roger nearly topped the fed from every old bird race he entered and has been the most likely to win for the last 20 yrs. If you want birds to be there for you from 50 to 300 then get some from him, mainly Janseens. Read the Janner reports from end of April 06 - he never raced ybs because his daughter got married.
