Contact DEFRA and they will tell you where to send one of your live birds for post morterm it is the best way, they are not as bad as people make out. They really helped us by treating for the right problem rather than guessing and treating blind http://www.defra.gov.uk/ They then send a report to your local vet who will prescribe any treatment you need, your local vet would only do this anyway, personally would go direct to DEFRA http://forum.pigeonbasics.com/m-1186695780/s-0/

Basically you can have as much nationals as you like, open to all members that are affiliated to group only, where anyone can join as long as you must abide by the rules and fill all the criteria of joining that are stated in their constitutions , therfore open to the nation. Pigeons are only one of numerous examples where it happens

If you intend letting it out again it may do the very same, best to find out where it got stained first or you will be constantly washing it

I heard that using lighter fuel is common amongst the show fanciers, once a guy put too much on so he tried to dry it off near gas fire tha pigeon became a ball of flames, I think it survived but a bit grizzled :X So be careful

I will be building a new loft at Billy's new house when he gets one, we are only going to race from there so he can get all the buzz on race days Plus he is the brains of the partnership regards racing

Don't go for a natural or sand floor, concrete or replaceable smooth ply is a must, in hind sight

They were out in the sunshine today, enjoying a good view from the top of the aviary, In hind sight or plan B-Z as I am well known for, I should have spit the aviary in three sections which I will do when I get the chance, so all the sections can be out in their own area at one time, we have to do a 1/3 out at a time rotation, and I am going to concrete the aviary floor

Red star lofts, but will make my own in future, they spoiled it using MDF parts which is not water friendly if you want to clean them sometime and not deep enough.

While I was cleaning out the cages some of Billy's whites, pieds and Grizzles escaped, six in all, do not know the ring numbers. I never told him as I thought they would be back at his loft tonight when I went to feed them, but no sign of any. Hopefully they will turn up tomorrow at mine or his, one had only a blue clip ring on no ID ring. If not, any ones that are found contact me or Chickadee please :'( :'( :'(

I thought you could edit or remove/delete a post you made as long as you did so before 15 mins passed, looks like it is down to around 5 mins now, is this a blip on the norn now???
