  1. Harry can you spot us ;D ;D ;D Lets join the Jupiter race programme, earth is the small one ;D
  2. This is old hat spit of the UK, Scotland being a region of one along with NI and Wales, England being a region containing seven at least. I used to fight in these competitions, two from each region, two from scotland and 14+ from England took a bit of beating but we did it at times although the odds are stacked against you, as you can see. Now sports have move on due to our shake up of the sports council, Sport Scotland now have 3 or 4 regions with Scotland, and we now have Sport England instead of the Sports Council of GB If pigeon racing becomes recognised as a sport then these guide lines will have to be followed if you want to join sport governing bodies like Sport Scotland :-/
  3. He is away the toss his birds from favourite lib point "DRUM BRAE" EDINBURGH ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  4. Correct, it happens a lot more than you think, sadly it impresses the hell out of some that are not aware of it's true worth.
  5. Totally agree, Scotland regards anything should be run by Scotland, same as any of the rest, Uk should be run by a cross section of the uk not just one part of it whether it be Eng, Sco, Ire or Wls if it is a level playing field :-/
  6. Aye, he's no getting on the commitee, you widnae hear anything for his big drummmmmmm ;D ;D ;D
  7. What a brilliant idea, have you copyrighted the idea, if not I am on the drawing board on Monday :) I will change anyway ;D ;D ;D
  8. No what I was suggesting was a federation of all nationals if you had Sco, Eng, Ire and Wls running their own nationals, the federation could be a commitee of two from each nation John o Groats to Landsend is 822 miles by road, the widest part of the mainland is less than 400 miles so you are very restricted to the distance you can race within the uk
  9. I like when you shout at me auld ain, this post has been all over the place, yourself included talking about things that have no relevance to the origonal question, Not complaing because that's what I thing the forum should all be about but I am damned if you are going to tell me I am mixed up, you mix it along with the best of us. I would love to see a united Scotland in all walks of life, also a united Kingdom but there is no way I have seen you trying to achieve this, you just bang your own drum, very loud most of the time
  10. That was mentioned earlier totally impracticle, we are just a small island 6 or 7 hundred miles long and a lot less wide not the best layout, four seasons in one day, winds so unpredictable to plan races, just have to make the best of it
  11. It's called debate, no way are the English, Irish or Welsh going to become members of a Scottish national club :-/
  12. That is the way of the future UK NRP Federation
  13. One if the above is applied, no different from the SHU, WHU, IHU, or the EHU if there is any, the trouble is we are not considered as a sport and have no specific governing bodies recognised by the sports council, pigeon racing is an entity all of it's own. I can start up the dovescot world homing royal pigeon racing federation tommorow and if I get enough members to join and fly against who could do anything about, no one :-/
  14. Surely the question of national or not, boils down to this, no if's, but's or maybe's If you are saying Scotland is a nation you must accept Wales, Ireland or England are also nations, as in SNRPC then surely if you compete against another nation as in Wales, Ireland or England then it has to be considered an International, we can't have it both ways. If it is a Scottish national then it should be only open to Scots if we are a seperate nation. Why is there no Welsh NRPC, Irish NRPC, English NRPC or even a UKNRPC to compliment the SNRPC
  15. That is what I am hoping for :B Cheers

He is making great progress, his weight is up to 5st 12lb, his consultant who I was meant to meet this week is off ill, he left word that Billy is not getting out till he reaches 7st Council are trying to get him suitable accomodation before he gets out, if not he is going to stay with us a few days till he gets sorted.
