We had birds getting attack in one of our lofts, feet missing, eggs missing and damaged to the point they died, our loft is as vermin proof as possible we thought, we have a beech tree which the squirrels ferried the nuts all day long, so we set some traps thinking it was a rat, what we caught was a grey squirrel, since discouraging them we have had no more bother, nothing else ever caught in the traps. Get rid just in case, well named tree rats :-/

He will have no means to access the site when he gets to his new house, he may log on here as he plans to fill in his time in my workshop, but we have to check and see how the saw dust and the paint fumes will effect him for by the birds, some of our birds are so tame they come into the workshop and steal cable ties for their nests, even the nail gun does not flinch some of them We plan to get him one of these electric scooters, seen this one on ebay but unfortunately it is in Cornwall :'( :'( :'( I could play on that myself http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150245835386&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005

It has all to do with gravatational fields due to planets alignments, the gravity of the eath is just under 10, the gravity of the moon is just under 1.7 where the sun is about 240. This is what affects out tides, so if it can pull the earth to tip the worlds water then if may have a lot of other effects on nature You have to take into account the lines of the other planets in our solar system that effect out planet's gravity, mercury's gravity is 3.8. jupiter is 23.6, pluto is only 0.7 all these affect us in some way I think when you see both the sun and the moon near each other during the day you are getting gravity pulls from both, thus it may be affecting the birds homing instinct, bearing in mind what we do to birds when racing them is not natural :-/

Sad news for Billy today, his tests came back today and he has the worst form of pigeon lung, which is a fungus in his lungs making him totally alergic to pigeons and possibly all birds. any contact could kill him. So I have to get rid of all his birds from his lofts. He was really gutted gutted today when I told him the news Good thing is we have had word from the council today and he is getting a low door accomodation with wheel chair access near us as soon as one comes available, not sure if he can still stay with us for a few days when he gets out due to us having birds. A sad day for a man who loves his birds

"let he without sin cast the first stone"

You can have these two females free, never answered as the cost of getting them to Belfast, our white ones are too young to sex -
A wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman. And was somewhat upset. "You are a disrespectful pig!" she cried. "How dare you do this to me -- a faithful wife, the mother of your children ! I'm leaving you. I want a divorce straight away !" And the husband replied "Hang on just a minute love, so at least I can tell you what happened." "Fine, go ahead," she sobbed, " but they'll be the last words you'll say to me!" And the husband began -- "Well, I was getting into the car to drive home and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenceless that I took pity on her and let her into the car. I noticed that she was very thin, not well dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn't eaten for three days ! So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night, the ones you wouldn't eat because you're afraid you'll put on weight. The poor thing devoured them in moments. Since she needed a good clean up I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes so I threw them away. Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, but don't use because you say they are too tight. I also gave her the underwear that was your anniversary present, which you don't use because I don't have good taste. I found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas that you don't use just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at the expensive boutique and don't use because someone at work has a pair the same." The husband took a quick breath and continued - "She was so grateful for my understanding and help and as I walked her to the door she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said, " Please . do you have anything else that your wife doesn't use?" :X :X :X :X :X

Would never say never, but the chances are high as race birds need to be in peak condition, your symptons sound very severe not just a minor ailment :-/
-
Sounds like the grain may have come from a barn where foriegn objects are common in the storage sheds as they are used for other things when the grain runs out :-/
-
With words like blackie and shed she must have origonated from here
-
The vets like them alive for autopsy, don't know why
-
Well done racer, I would fillet down the sides of the boxes and perches to keep dirt out, you may find it hard to clean a small gap like that Roll up some mesh for along the top of your perches to stop unwanted visitors
-
Congratulations to you both, I have that pleasure to come yet, 33 and still single
-
If it was due to that then it would be gradual as the earths magnetic fields are changing all the time, interesting to see how far the pole has moved over that time bearing in mind we have probably only records for the last few years
-
I would definately want to know what was wrong with it, so I could treat the rest if need be. It may cost but may be a lot cheaper in the long run. Agree with Sammy, stop putting diseased birds out in the wild via the basket, you are only spreading it to others and propping up the flying rat brigade :-/

Thanks very much for the Pigeon DVD's that you gave to Billy to help him pass the time in hospital, he is watching them over again so he will be keeping me right when he gets out of hospital :'( :'( :'( :) All the best from Me and Billy

He is up to 6st 2lb, so getting there on the wieght increase, he is still out of breath but this may be as good as it gets due to pigeon lung. They are just trying to get his insulin stable along with all the other treatments he gets for his cancer etc But looking and feeling a lot better
