  1. Not required for showing as far as I know, unless you mean showing racers definately not for the fancy breeds :-/
  2. Chickadee has an array of white pigeons, we have racers including busshaerts, logans, warren fosters and roland jensens, a kit of 12 rollers, giant runts, indian fantails, capuchines, jacobins, german beauty homers and garden fantails in the lofts and five dove cotes with fantails and homers, I am sure she is a white supremist, almost all of them hand tame to her
  3. Circo virus is also carried by rabbits and guinnae pigs :-/
  4. We have other indians that breed ok but he is just either too thick, gay or impotent but we love him just the same and he will feed anything the loft :) Some of the others, I kept him and the whites and gave away the rest
  5. But these are also signs of salmonella and meningitis as well :-/
  6. Nice bird, one of my first birds was an Indian saddle back, all he has ever done is fill a perch, we still have him as well Welcome to the site
  7. Best plan I think
  8. Try this one http://www.izvg.co.uk/useful_info.html
  9. Got to agree the best one I have found so far :) http://photobucket.com/
  10. Where are you from Amar :-/ This is the avian vet approved by the National Pigeon association http://www.nationalpigeonassociation.co.uk/#/avianvets/4527427149
  11. Would that not be the last resort and only when he finds out what is wrong with them first, You can still scorch the loft and treat the birds if it is treatable surely, remember this guy is new to pigeons and culling all his stock may finnish him off from keeping birds in the future :-/
  12. The scum should be hounded and fed to the dogs
  13. Their neck also tilts like that with salmonella and meningitis :-/
  14. Cheers, some cracking birds on there, I seen some like them at Blackpool, don't let Chickadee see the white ones :(
  15. Take a sick bird with you or a cross section of the droppings from the loft, they normally want a live pigeon to post mortem :-/
  16. Unless they are tested it could be a number of things not just paramyxo :-/
  17. This will kill off any germs that are in your loft but not help your birds, tell your vet to get his finger out or use another one and report to him how your birds were maltreated :-/
  18. Tell him that the treatment did not work and you want a test done, either a post mortem or a droppings test, he sounds like a chancer to me just treating blind and hope it works, shocking!!!
  19. Did he test them, as baytril is an antibiotic to treat sick birds not just given to keep them healthy :-/
  20. If it looks like this it has an inflamation of the nervour sytem in the brain caused by a number of ailments, the pigeon that has gone this far is beyond treatment, did you get them tested or did you just treat with baytril. The one that has gone like this was probably too far gone or did not respond to the baytril, once the baytril was finished you should have had them tested again, baytril is just a broad spectrum antibiotic and may not cover the ailment you have Possible ailments include paramyxo, salmonella or meningitis, best to get checked by a vet preferably an avian one as it may spread thoughout your loft if not treated properly
  21. Have a good one Henrik
  22. Are they all like that :-/
  23. All the best from the Dan Clan
