Echinacea is one of the 15 different herbs that makes up Naturaline,which has a benefical effect on the respiratory tracts amongst other things.I use it all year round and every day for my young birds as it increases the PH levels.

Raining here and a dark morning with a cool north wind.

Heard on the news last night beer up 6p due to the VAT increase.This is another nail in the coffin for some pub landlords.The landlord of our club HQ is already finding it hard to keep the pub running,closing early on slack nights to save money on staff wages.We could find ourselves without a HQ. the pub has closed before for the same reason but luckily it was in the off season.Over the last couple of seasons alot don,t stay for a pint after marking is over and now at £2-86p a pint there will be a few more getting off early.

Very light covering of snow which looks to be thawing already, +2 degs and cloudy.

A bit brighter early on,the birds flew really well but clouded over now and only 2degs.

A bit cooler this morning but dry and patches of blue sky.

Light rain but 7 degs and n.w.wind,getting the birds in the bath today first time for a couple of weeks.

Feel ok this morning,took it easy last night after a good day out in my home town Liverpool,plenty to eat and drink with old friends and no hangover.

Had a good season so would not change much,but if I had the room I would race my young birds on the sliding door system and would have a small stock loft as I have loaned my best breeders to friends through lack of space.

Good morning Sapper,off to get some corn and supplements,down to my last 1/4 of a bag due to the bad weather.

Overcast and damp but +6,all snow now gone.

Heavy rain through the night and most of the snow now gone,+3 going up to +8 during the day.

Light rain here, +3 and no minus temps forcasted for the next 4 days.
