Good morning Sapper,hope you enjoyed your holiday.Lovely start to the day here,clear blue sky and a light west wind.

Had two bushes in my garden some time ago and I fed the berries to the pigeons which they loved,but the birds caught a bacterial infection which I put down to the berries as the wild birds would peck at them and also some of the berries tend to be a bit mouldy.This was some years ago and it was cleared up by Nifuramycin off the vet.I also got rid of the bushes.

Overcast and raining with light winds.A good day to give the birds a bath.

The last couple of seasons one of the clubs I'm in, because of dwindling numbers has held a Race night (horse)at our HQ.The landlady laid on the food free of charge,the pub was full with fanciers and local people.The club made a few bob through a raffle and Y/Bird sale and the landlady made a killing on the drinks.The cost of the Race night was £175 but we cleared that easily.

Best of luck,we're no where near Whitby but the weather here is dull and misty,with a se wind.

Strong sw wind gusting up to 40mph,dry at the moment but dark clouds overhead,looking like heavy rain on the way.
