    I only race to the coast 196mls so the birds go every weekend.We have 14 land races starting at 70mls,I usually keep a few at home incase we get a bad race or I feel they need a rest.The y/birds just get a few races.

    Have used all systems over the years but now it's the scraper.I clean the loft three times a day when breeding,twice when racing and once during the winter.I clean around the nest bowls each time I top the galley pots up and at the same time touch the y/birds beak which makes them very tame on being weaned.I only have twelve pairs so it doesn't take as long as it sounds.

    Unless breeding my birds hardly touch pink/black minerals.I coat the corn with oil and sprinkle them on it during the rest of the year.
