Common sense prevails but how many weeks do you go on for if for whatever reason you dont get out of Thirsk this weekend and should the Duplication race be back on.Another point to consider should the averages be finished after this week or should they carry on if they vote for the extra race.If they dont you will not get very many pigeons and then be in a postion of dictating to members that they have another race to go. -

To date this new Set up has been flying fantastic.In only 4 young bird Races 8th Sect 2106 birds 21st Open 6370 birds,3rd &4th Sect 2314 birds 12&15th Open 7332 birds,1st,4th,6th &7th Sect 2182 birds and 9th Open 6758 birds then last weekend 1st ,6th,10th,14th &15th sect and 1st &7th Open 4550 birds and this weekend we will be in the shake up again.

Gareth there is no mention of having extra race and it would not be included within the averages.The Duplication race i think will be cancelled due to the lack of income received last week. -

With rule 32 b in place there is no point in having the meeting.What we cant do is put the races back as we have none left to Fly.One question left do we undertake the Duplication race??? or will it be cancelled.Thirsk is back on unless the weather or the Office Bearers change their mind. -

We have 2 cracking youngsters from our Number 1 Myrtle Lofts Vandenabeele Pair Robin Hood X Joint Venure x Last Chance X Gold Shadow which have excelled in The Lanarkshire Fed over the Last 4 years including Fed Champion 3/4 years. The other youngster is from my Deans Pigeons Down from Georges Boy 4th Sect 27th Open Reims SNFC X Bellside Wagg 2ndSect 22nd Open Ypres SNFC who is going for his Silver Award along with another 3 which all go back to Ref G from Andra Deans.They will be leaving the nest within the next 3-4 days. Thats 61/63 for the Thirsk Special Duplication Race next week then the 98% goes into the Young Bird National.Lets hope there are nae Nosebleeds next week the youngsters are needin a wee bit of distance. Thanks John Quinn for your vote of confindence

We have 55/63 the Great Macs had 21/24 so its looking not to bad its just a pity we were not racing from Thirsk in the Fed Open Race.Lets hope the Fed meeting votes for the Open Race from Thirsk next week
