Snowys birds have been found in Elgin. The police have returned the birds but all the life rings have been cut off.

No birds have returned,Snowie is now left with 4 old birds and 16 young birds. I asked if he wanted some young birds but he say he will carry on with what he has. Some of the old birds taken were over 10 year old and irreplaceable. Looks like the assumptions aired on here might be right.

The way I see it is that members get a new book from the SNFC every year and the rules for that year are in it. If a rule states a certain date that is the date for that year only as the following year it might be changed at the AGM and this change would be in the new book.

They were flying 366 miles.

Well this was one of the hardest races I can remember for us in the North Section in resent years from the y/bird National. Only 11 of our best pigeons timed on the second day from 96 sent. It is a vast distance to expect our y/birds to fly but we still send our best. We can not just empty our lofts for this race but have to send our best as the distance quires us to do this. A lot of good pigeons did not make it home in race time and you cant fault the ones that don't but turn up a few days later as they have tried their best. Well done to all that timed and to the Section winners my club mates the two Jims in a very hard race for us in the North Section.
