My old dark cheq called sixteen. i lost him as a youngbird on the last race of the season in september upto that point he raced every race, he came back in march the following year in a right old state, i gave him a year off to moult, he repayed me ten fold winning 10th open combine 400mls 7,400 birds, also 3 open combine postions from 500 miles with over 4,500 birds on the day he also won the london combine hall of fame to boot. so i would say a rest does them no harm at all

Looking for advice on buying a digital camrea that i can take close up shots with. any camrea buffs on here that could put me in the right direction please.

In my opion there is no such thing as a strain, the UK get taken in me included every year by Van this Van that, at the end of the day what we should be realy looking for is winners from a winning loft no matter what the strain is, How many lofts up and down the Uk have these so called superstar strains yet dont win a carrot, yet another loft wins everything no matter wot strain they have. I think its time the UK woke up and all the winning lofts should be named under there own name like they do in belgium & holland. JMO

Anyone out there interested in these 3 cocks, two were given to me to look after by a friend who asked me to look after them until he restarted back in the sport, but sadley he is no longer restarting. all have bred prize winners to fed level, i was going to buy three hens to make up the numbers but i got to many birds as it is, so if they can do someone a turn just pay the carrige.
