out of interest when do your yearlings start taking to the widowhood method, i find mine dont start coming well until the last 4 or 5 races

I always thought it was a must to allow cocks a youngbird, so that they would bond to the box. However speaking to a friend of mine who's won 6 nationals etc tells me he races the widowhood cocks dry.

ive had plenty of winners in bottom boxes, and wot i mean by winners is mulipul wins at fed level

Never found raising baby hard, I believe good food plenty of grit minrals and clay blocks, oils on the food and natraline in the water once a week job done

Plenty of clay blocks, grit minrals and a good breeding mix will do the trick i find versal laga got a bit to much maize for my liking but if you must use that just add a few peas, natraline in water once a week. i add baby powder too with ad herb on the food.

Ive never realy took much notice of this but will old birds moult be triggerd? if there 1st round of eggs are taken away after ten days. and then allowed to bring up there next round full term. i know it happens the other way round.

when going to the longer races i increase the maize and maples to my widowhood mix and increase the peanut intake, i found this works
