  4. soda cristals 95 cent charcoal tabs 3 euro comes to less than 4 euro.
  5. im a very firm beliver in the bird its self health wise regarless strain if you have a winning strain and get them in peak health you wont go far wrong my uncle is an expert at this he will pick an indivual bird or birds for certain races them birds or bird will look nothing special but come 2 weeks to the race there picked for they turn into athleats body wise condition wise the form it gets them into gifted how many lads can race 80 youngones and pick the pooler constanly not many peak health has a lot to answer for in pigeon racing
  6. now thats what i like the history and yes maurice liked dessys birds they crossed brilliant into his own we never crossed out top lines ever i know only to many people in this sport that lie bare faced to people about the breeds of birds one side of the bird would be janssen the other say grother but still it was a jannsen pigeon and yet the boom of the jannsen brothers was dr faberys birds crossed into them which brought them to the top but noi mention of him the poor lad lol . it was a shame the origanel busshearts were not left straight 30 years ago lies and more lies is what you get .i think if you have birds that are winning lines leave them and work them as best you can .my mate had some louise coormans two years ago tried them as young birds didn score once as yearlings this year couldn keep them out of the clock guess what sold his stock befor the old bird racing lol.
  7. middle distance mate only busshearts in the 50s there lot was 180 220 considered sprinters now there doing 600miles lol just 20 and 30 years ago people some how forgot they were crossed for distance but (some how it was never said)ie there busshearts and crossed again ie you have 600ml stuff .
  8. i think when it comes to pigeons that do great in the first 5 to 10 years you jump on them regardless the strain its when there hot winning everything you jump on that there and then 25 years ago the verheys were doing we jumped got them never crossed them there still doing it machines on the land. the gabys well folks hold your hands up there fantastic birds there record is shocking in the short years there around they will and mark my words break records for years to come i think they end up an ultimate breed gaby him self was sending between 9 and 12 cocks to a race and other members and flyers 50 and 60 top top top flyers at that 80%of the time gabys birds won a north east wind and he used to smile because he had the race won .we got children of the lines in the 80s and 90s and bred rings around these the young there producing for stock are class they will never be crossed out and they have proving them selfs already the first year weve half tried them these are our channel birds for the future . plus an interesting write up on the verheys i read there is not another breed of pigeon that has won more in middle racing in the uk ireland or for that matter the british isles than the verhyes bet this is gonna stir sh** but very true folks.
  9. there is a lot of distance in the gaby birds mate just they seem to win more middle than distance but there is flyers that have them at 600 plus and winning check the milage they win at abroad class sure the main cock kleine was distance.
