had a mate of mine around after buying in birds for breeding lovely birds mind you (but) they were bought abroad birdage this man was winning against was at best 200 his in a book classed as a top flyer and charged my mate 250 euro each a bird me you and others fly against a lot more birdage harder conditions have better birds by right but still our mates and lads a like go and spend money on this sh** with a fancey pedigree and foreign ring and think there gonna clear up :-/ :-/

ill start with wat i do with the young we take them away when there fully featherd under the wing they get put on to beans,peas,tears straight away and remain on them 6 weeks before the first race there slowly introduced to the race mix and pushed hard traing to burn the fat and build muscle they are giving a quarter of a flagle each for 3e days at 3 or 4 weeks of age there wormed with ivomec at 6 weeks 8 weeks baycox they are giving a course of doxy for 3 days and moniterd if they fluff up when they get this treatment stop it it means there is no respitory problems if they become more alert vigur longer flying contiue it for 15 to 20 days or they so the signs of fluffing up 90 percent of young bird loses they say is respitoy when there 10 or 12 weeks old a 7 day course of baytril 7 days vits and primalac we use primal;ac every day .then after a week vaccinate for salmonella live if possible pump multi vits and primalac into them for 10 days they will be down but come around after a few days 3 weeks after the vaccine there protected for 10 months we give tea twice a week grits minerals crumble blocks all year round condition oils on the food . on return from the race trapping seed and rapolyte in the warter sunday the same and built back up monday to thursday .

why dont we start a thread to help the young fanciers with the health of there birds and systems we use to keep our birds right not an argument folks but let the fancier choose what he would like to do maybe even take one or two things from our systems and add to there own plus give them a view on what we do ?
