    Saintes sec.M

might try a couple of sprinters. seriously think it would need to be the fittest 2/3 y/o to get anywhere near the result , I also think at this distance the east/ west argument will be irrelevent as it will be a game bird anywhere that does this distance

could the inland races not be flown under the ospice of the snfc , thus allowing a large birdage, but simply called something other than a national ie Scottish Classic open , or something like that,

  16. was up at 7 in Killie today snow all gone now
  17. best idea i have seen is Grill floors with a 6ft plus drop underneath which get cleaned daily keeping the birds well away from the droppings
  18. while I agree that there are a lot of unfit /unhealthy pigeons sent ,this has always been the case however it doesnt explain the increase in losses over the years in itself, perhaps as you say crap pigeons, maybe over the years the homing intinct has been bred out of a lot of them by the big studs etc, breeding off birds never out of the loft and many times removed from the actual champions, add that to the BOP problem and the increased usage of mobile phones etc this will become the norm in future unless we act (I dont have the answers to that)soon. jmo
