I got a hawk strike today was in the loft and all the birds outside scattered, i rn out and a hawk was on top of the loft with a bird, my shouts made the hawk take off, the bird flew along the house a bit, came in about 3 hours later ,not badly damaged just seems to have a sore wing, but i have another bird missing,

  13. you can makeone out of a good strong cardboard box, make the inside a light blue colour,
  14. there are no dead areas on the pad, even the flat bits will time in a bird, birds standing on the flat area would be close enough to the ribbed area anyway to clock,

  16. as said I would look through this topic and if it was one which could be a good one it would be sorted out IE OFF topics etc, so I have done so an hopfully all will be happy, I done my best taking out off topics so hope I havent offended anyone, so please keep the thread as it was intended, to post about the benifits and value of the 2 unions, without any agro or getting into the SHU RPRA war of words, you all know what is meant so lets give some good debates, and I have moved the thread to the pigeon politics board, thanks THE FIFER,
  17. vic I have moved this thread as I think it was bringing up old wounds, and better left off the forum,
  18. a global mod has all boards to look after, a board mod only looks after certain boards,
  19. cheers , and thanks to valance lofts for joining the moderators,
  20. yes thanks, think I will lock the thread for a cooling off period and may open it again in the politics board 2 moro, hoping it stays on topic, if its put back on, hoping for your cooperation, thanks
  21. yes lets keep it to your respectable views on the 2 unions regarding their advantages, please and thanks,
  22. hopefully we will not turn this thread into the usual SHU RPRA agro, lets keep it as its intention to give your views on which one you prefer, keep it to this please, will let it run on this notice board just now but will move it later to its proper place on the politics, thanks,
  23. is that an ETS ring round its neck, thats probably why its handycapt ;D ;D ;D ;D
  24. the bird must be in captivaty, ie. not able to fly off once clocked, the bobwires on this one are on the wrong side the bird would be timed before the bird was through them, so before the bird was in the comfines of the loft, put the wires on the front and they would be ok,
  25. yes garden fantils ok, indian ones not good rearers, best puting their eggs under others,
