yes had a few talks with a primary school, used to liberate white birds each year to open their sports day, also had a white bird take part in a liberation of 50 birds at stafford for her golden jubilee the queen releaed them and before hand the white cock was at school and the local press was there taking photos of the bird with the head teacher and the kids, the children gave it a name "PURDEY" it was sent down to join the other 49 birds from down south, purdey was the only bird from Scotland,and yes he came home and still in the loft now, both the school and myself received a diploma from the queen for taking part, still got photos of my gran son and the head teacher letting purdey go at the school before the liberation of others to open their sports day,

helmets and kormorners are 2 different breeds,the helmets are related to the nuns,

they are closely related to the NUNS and apairently there are 3 types in britain, will try and get more info for you.

can crows get in, thats what the carrion crows do take the heads off, and its the time of year for them,just starting nesting, i had lots of trouble with them in the past, they even get at your birds through the dowling on sputniks etc,
