could be something in this as well, as we all breed too many youngsters now,

I think now adays there is a lot of mass training as i call it, (not downing the people which put up those trainers) but if birds are being trained in batches of 2-3 hundred birds and homing to the same area, how many are using their own instinct and how many are just following the batch, :-/

I go to the Scottish Police College Tulliallan next month for the anniversary of the memorial, for officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, was there with the whites with princess anne when it was first opened, go each year now for the memorial,

if its radio waves etc, how does it not effect all our birds, I have a mobile mast near me in a field and there are loads of streeters always feeding in the field, :-/ and they like all birds have homing instinct, how many masts do the swallows have to pass over on their way migrating back and forth,

thought most organisations had sponsors for feeding,

agree regarding the new members etc, as long as they were new to the sport,

agree on that Rose, I know before you picked a good one for your acccumulater and it went maybe for 1-2-3 weeks, now in my club it is never won and gets raced for in the last race,

fair enough but your birds would get their places, and what if you are only allowed to time your first 4 and your 5th bird is a puller or nom bird,

yes but you didnt get members sending 50-60 birds Rose,

in my view the only way to limit winners would be to limit entries, we are trying to get pigeon racing recognised as a sport, its not a sport if someone gets a place when there were multyple birds in before it because you are only allowed to time in so many, the next thing we will be saying in football only the first three goals a team score are counted, :-/

I wouldnt like to win a place knowing there was birds in before me but not clocked, thats not racing really is it,

I dont think this is the place to sort out this problem, the club committee should be the ones to deal with it and bring the 2 together and sort it out, as said reading some of the posts it is not going to go anywhere on the forum so will close it just now and leave on for a while to let you see the reason,
