I have 2 westies I keep with my young birds, and if any adrift the westies are left out so as to attract them, but I like getting my youngsters out very soon after weaning to get a look around, i wean my youngsters in the sputnik for a few days until i see they are eating and drinking and able to fend for themself amongs the others which have been weaned earlier, so when out on the landing board they drop in easy knowing the sputnik,

yes Sapper says it all, a great welcome and thanks to basics members well appreciated, will post up more details once we get all the photos, and a big thanks from The OC, RSM, WO11 and wings, for the donation which is for a very good cause and I am sure helping our lads from 45 Commando, well done to the members and our Charity Administrator Ian, here is some of the photos taken on my camera, there will be more taken by the units Photographer, click to enlarge sapper and wings beside the memorial,in the gardens some of the features in the gardens, the globe and rocks brought back from some of the various countries 45 were posted and fifer, sapper, wings and fifer looking around the mess Officers mess this is in the camp so lets you see how large it is the ski slope and climbing wall getting instructions before firing the weapons yes thats me sapper

got to watch with young birds when others training old birds and racing, often they come back if they have been around for a while,

its possible m8, in Scotland we have a stray centre for young birds, any found goes there and you get them back for a small fee, mabe get them reported on site m8 watch out, sometimes youngsters do make their way back,

got a call from a non fancier who reported the bird to the Scottish rspca, who gave her my number, got the bird in a basket with water and feeding, the bird is injured, hurt its kneel , can fly the lady said up to her roof, other than that it looks ok, a bit thin, and a Grizzle, any takers
