no offence alan, but just pointing out what we mean by genuine threads being taken over by banter, this was a genuine member putting on a thread for offering seats on a bus and look what it was turned into, any genuine person wanting to enquire about seats would have to search through the whole thread to try and find something about the bus, some seats have bean taken so getting there, not from the forum, all the best.

alf go over and look through the "FIFE BUS FOR BLACKPOOL THREAD" this was a genuine thread offering seats on a bus to blackpool thats what the thread was for, look at it, this is what we mean by banter taking over genuine threads, not very fair on the person trying to get a coach going is it,

;D ;D must admit i have as well, but see no problem if the moderators move it, or draw our attention to it, as it keeps the threads in line with what they are started for, i think the most to watch is changing the article which the thread was about etc, and yes sometimes a post is put on and i feel oh i must come in with this or that, could be ok coming in with a bit of a banter but then usually its not just one post of banter but the thread then turns into banter and thats when mods have to sort it out, or we get a slap on the hand fron webmaster, and the same if we put something on a thread which should'nt be or do something wrong i can assure you webmaster lets us know, anyway lets keep things going and think of xmas coming soon ;D ;D ;D ;D

thats right alf one subject would be boreing , but this forum allows a lot of subjects, thats why there is different threads for each one, its all there, but to keep things right they are better in the right one instaed of mixing different subjects all together, theres one for pigeons, chit chat, sales etc do you think they would make sence if they were all on the one thread, also the matter of deleting, as has been pointed out time and time again, moderators only put posts or threads into a "DELETED ITEMS FOLDER" where the webmaster decides if it is to be deleted or put back on, so if a moderator is right in the eyes of the webmaster it will be deleted or if the webmaster decides its ok then he will put it back on, we are only trying to do a job, and do our best, and most other sites are the same they have different threads for different subjects, and surely its only right if something is in the wrong place, to move it,

no don't need to go to that expence, there are plenty old dove cotes around the farms etc, and in glens

just what i said on a previous post, councils should put up cotes to keep streeters under controll,

yes a lot depends on time as well, driver only allowed to drive so long, and we are about an hour getting out of fife,

well we know that davey will get webmaster to check on the other, just to clear things.

yes the bus picks up a lot on its way down, and is well organised, been going with it now for a good few years, and always a good lot of people who all enjoy the journey on the coach, it has been the same driver as long as i have been going and he is always very helpful, anyone going to different hotels are dropped off at their place,

lovely garden fantails, i have a pair, they have a crest on their heads,

the pigeon cote at letham glen has closed as well, i had a chat with one of the councilors he was on about the streeters in town, i told him they should have kept the cote in the glen as lots of the streeters went there and if they have a place for them then they could keep them under control, taking away eggs etc, but if they are nesting on buildings etc they are not easy to control, better keeping some of the pigeon towers open, there are still a few around yet which are closed.

they had a few and a lot of fantails, and other animals, pigs, hens, etc, but it closed down but still think there is a few pigeons yet, not been up for a while,

if i remember correctly the deep bowls are a bit narrower on the bottom, they are good for single rearing as the youngster does'nt get its legs streached out as they sometimes doo
