had the loft a few year now lyns , thats why ive decided to paint it ,

just finnished a complete refurbish of my loft , wondering what colour of paint to use inside the loft , and do,s the colour affect the birds !

this season ive only paired 5 pairs up , as im getting 12 young bred for me trying some new blood and clearing out some birds !!

Here at asda it's £1.09 the goverment take 68 pence tax/vat and get the fuel cheap , goe,s to show they could sell it cheap but greed takes ova !!

Anyone breeding early this year ? I used to but no more , I've decided to try new birds this year !! Having said that I would have to be carefull letting them out as I have three neibours who are feeding street pigeons ! Don't want them mixing with them !!

Just wondering who woke up to snow this morning , we had no snow but a hard frost , same tonight I think

nice lofts ! ive done exact same thing with my roof using polycarbonate sheets ! lets loads a light in . and providing you put the sheets the right way on, it dos,nt get too warm in summer !

i got a towel heater its a flat heater and is about 2 ft square it cost me £25 about 2 yrs ago and is ideal !only use it when very cold and found it cheap to run , when you look at any heater look for the lowest wattage , mine is 240 watts hope this helps !! these heaters are only half inch thick !!

i also use rain water for there baths with a tsaspoon of virkon s in it ! they are soft feathering ,

advice please could you use the rain water from a water butt for the pigeons to drink ? it do s come from the roof , but filters through a filter sock , witch catch s all debri , but concerned about any baccteria etc, witch will be in it !can it be sterilized ? and what could you use !! thanks.

there are rules for ets ! the argument for and against it could go on and on ! but at the end of the day its only another clocking system ! me personally think its the best system ever !

just been informed about a new disease going round, symptoms are like one eyed cold , one or two fanciers round this area have it , just wondering if anyone else has herd of it !! thats all we need !!

helo mate , ive had this , its adeno coli ! clear wet droppings with a black worm type fecis in the middle , firstly if you havent vaccinated for paramyxo do it now , if this illness is not treated it does lead to nervouse problems in the bird , firstly do not feed them any maize or small seed , and treat them with a 4-1 , 7 days ! then at end of treatment give vito pro combo 2 days then 2 days milton 1 teaspoon to 4 ltrs water , this will clear it up and should stop it spreading ! but keep an eye on any birds that begin stairing in to space as this is signs of paramyxo ! they can get over this but can be carriers hope this helps mate it did mine !! you should spray everything in loft with virkon s !!!

pro combo, has salts in it witch will make the birds drink more !!

what i do is wrap nest bowl up with news paper , and put a coconut nest felt in ! all young liquid goes through nest felt and into newspaper so they are always sitting in a dry nest !!

the one i use is very easy to use and reliable its the benzing g2 no probs at all withit also very compact

hi lads just wondering if any one looks in the throat of the bird before pairing ! to see if it is a good or bad bird to breed of its all to do with the curtain at the back of the throat

yea but surly they can afford it in the premship it would save alot of wrong deccisions !
