any one got the british homing world should read page 72 its all about planning etc it states that the keeping of pigeons is classed as a hobby and under the town & country planning acts the keeping of livestock eg budgies pigeons dogs cats or any animal s is permited and is classed as "use incidental to the enjoyment of residensial property "except animals that are a danger and a licence is needed

hi im aving trouble with the council here im moving to a new property and they give me permision to erect a loft (not in writing yet )but now need permision to keep pigeons in it !! as any one ever herd of this ?

i use the whistle cos if they are really high up they can here you and trap well always blow the whistle each feed time they soon learn!

theres far to many meds in books to buy to treat this and that the fancier can get confused and treat nedlessly lets face it we dont know what its doin to the bird !

hi yea i use the tube heaters in the breeding loft on a timer they just stop the water freezing up

what the coconut nest felts are good for they let fluids out and stay dry ' the other ones dont and you dont want the young to sit in wet nests ! but when using the clay nest bowls you must have it raised of the nest box about half inch with wood so as to let air circulate under the bowl if there on grills well it will be ok not to
