No lawrie iv not seen it. but we get many birds all year round &pigeons all summer.

Arrived on our rig this afternoon still here tonight. light red hen 06 f & a white address band.We are aprox 87mls off norfolk coast. God knows what she is doing out here?

There is a lovely 06 red hen with address ring on our rig tonight we are 80mls off norfolk .

Hello could any one help me with this ? On the program the homming instinct the man used a fancy pigeon with fethery feet to bring down his racers. What type of pigeon was it?

Was by the church today two more redshanks only heads eaten. that makes 15 redshanks&4 plover.1 snipe ,1 pigeon still dont know if its a sparrowhawk yet but guess it is as percy would have eaten whole bird.

Aye Les i know i have not seen bird that had been doing it yet as i just got home yesterday. but i will keep a close eye on the church. if it is a percy there is going to be trouble in town this year. a iv not seen one before.

Iam up in north fraserburgh . this ones been having a fine feast by the amount of remains i found.

Found remains today of gb08 j 42698. along with remains of redshanks and golden plover on church grounds scotland.

Last year i have put many birds back to shore on the boat to fly home from lowstoft or yarmouth. many dont even make it back from there. They are so done in once they land on rig its a hostile place for any bird wanting a drink after a long fly the only puddles are full of chems and oil based mud .soon sends them down hill. i have seen them older birds trying to get landwards only to be chased back by gulls its very sad to see it they know they are in wrong place and a drink of posion and trying to fly against 30 plus kns of wind no way!there are hunderds of bird going out to sea each year never to be seen again.

I for one know for sure what makes them go astray. last four yrs on oil rigs down norfolk waters up to 70 mls offshore i have seen racing birds young & old land on rigs iv been on totaly exhausted due to flying all day out to sea due to high winds during racing. last two summers there have been gale force winds from south or southwest or west or north west. But other wise no wind i dont see a bird. that not tell you something?

Defenceless birds birds targetted agian . what are the youth of today coming to!it will be old folk getting burned in there houses next. punishment should be looked in a box on fire!what go,s around comes around evil pure evil.

It makes my blood boil when you hear this going on in 21century. Its a barbaric and senceless act. i hope they rot in hell for it. so sorry rab
