AS all rings i have found have been in ploughed soil. everything has been churned up over years.

I have found many rings metal detecting.oldest was nurp 47BH.newest was gb88 A . none so far has been found with bone attached.but it not to say it could,ent happen.

Iam sorry to hear that terry. Some of the birds iv seen have been crackers they still have plenty of energy in em at moment.there was a strong wnw wind out here on sat.first bird i saw was at 11.30am they kept coming after that 100s landed on our rig on sat not so much today.
