  6. Very ture Walter as regards winter feeding I've fed my birds Irish mix and high protein low fat. Had two pigeon fanciers Round to house today working. And after they Finnished. They came over to have a look at the birds . Both commented on how All birds handled perfect condition despite a flight or two to come in some. Says it all . Get them out .

  17. Thats the best one I've seen in a long time😊.If trusted enough some birds learn humans posse no threat to them . Same could be said of of the humble pigeons you will always get some very tame ones and others that will jump every time you enter loft ? It's a rare thing nature.
  18. The tumble dryer fluff is the stuff they take. Must be the cold snap😨
  19. I've seen two quite regularly around the feeders. Also very tame. I've been watching sparrows over the last few months taking fluff and feathers into the three nest box's we've got on the drain pipes. Couple of days ago I counted 9 leaving in the morning from one. And 4 wrens going into and leaving the smaller box out front . Is this common? As I've never noticed it before ?

    New Start

I've not raced this season. Due to working commitments and health issues. Birds have had a complete break from racing . I've had them out every day and enjoy watching them fly round the houses. Have had to throw out the usual snipes every now and then .Just having them to look after keeps me busy and happy . Keep a few pairs . They won't cost much to feed. But be aware they will soon multiply!
  24. Could someone please pm me Colins phone number?
  25. What about the Belgiums ? I've read of them sometimes leaving birds with eff all for 5 days. And coming back and none had died. Food for thought? Or no food? Best get someone to have a look in .
