2 this morning came together one l/b and a yearling at 8.30 14/14 from Rotherham 270 mile.

there is quite a lot of birds crossing my house in newburgh 12 mile north of Aberdeen in the last 30 mins 830am. in batches of 5/6 heading north i got 2 this morning 2/4.

I was thinking about Saturday the 21st sep 10 am start 4pm weigh in im not to sure what river to fish the don or the ythan we will see what river is fishing best nearer the time. tight lines

There is good access to the River no hard walking and good river banks to fish from also there is a large bothy that looks on to the river if you want a break. We also own a good stretch of the River Ythan near Newburgh Ellon Aberdeenshire which has good runs of Salmon and Sea Trout in September. Depending on the interest I could have the competition at either River. Thanks for your interest George

I was thinking about organising a fishing competition on our one and a half mile private stretch of the river don near Aberdeen airport in September 2013 after the y/bird nat. sea trout brown trout salmon. fly. spinning. worm. teams of 3 anglers from pigeon clubs £100 per team. all money raised will go to Rachel house childrens hospice Kinross Scotland. donations of trophies or prizes would be great please help if you can. my e mail is (dodsmith@talktalk.net)

I just phoned my mate he did not get to Edinburgh today he put your bird up at at kircaldy fife 3pm.

sorry ian for taking so long to get back to you I got a friend of mine to release your bird near the forth bridge this afternoon hope you get it home ok. there was a lot of birds heading back south over my house on sat. I think a lot of doos overshot with the strong wind all the best George

watching the bbc news scotland see there is a pair nesting in the center of glasgow stopping them demolishing a block of flats. they built a new nest box on the next high building. canna see a way we can beat them.
