I remember rushing home from school in the 60s/70s changing clothes on my bike and up to the plots in froghall aberdeen whare there was about 20 lofts and listning to all the old doo men. tell there storys . frank troup. old dod smith .bob hadden. dod kemp. to name but a few in our plot we kept pigeons hens a goose lurchers ferrets i remember the guys in the next plot to us would dry there salmon poaching nets ready for night time .no one bothered what the other guy did. but we all had a great respect for each other. no one had a lot of money but we had everything you need to be happy.
