linells have purchased the franchise from junior you can longer get them serviced in belgium, we used to take a load there every year to the junior shop and pick them back up on way home after weekend in ostend but this stopped last year, i used mills this time very good service cheaper than linells

Klaus your a good un no mistake, my young apprentice (kane) is coming along nicely watch out for him in the yb season, when u coming down for a cuppa mate so we can have a chinwag? on a more serious note if every member encouraged a youngster into the sport the membership would double overnight now theres food for thought
-
thanks mate i have used castle couriers as well very good service, this job is to fetch some crates though not pigeons and they had indicated that they could do the job as there in scotland on the 12th, i have sent them a message via this site but had no reply as of yet all best stan
-
i only box the hens if they show an interest in pairing to each other, and i also darken loft down it helps to stop them pairing to each other, they outfly the cockbirds when exercising and racing especially as the distance increases
-

-

Its a beutiful clear sunny day here in the midlands, i have just let the old cocks out for a fly hope weather holds for a few days so we can get them fit, will have the hens out this afternoon after i have done a few hours work on the computor racing will soon be upon us
-
part of my yb pen is an aviary which the ybs trap into via a sputnik so are you telling me its against rules to do this as my ets pad is within the confines of the loft(albeit the loft is an aviary) its petty minded and is just the anti ets brigade trying to muddy the waters, on these assumptions i could put a stall trap on the outside of the aviary and time in and no one would raise an eyebrow, i would imagine a decent barrister would rip the rpra to pieces as theres no consistency in the rules lets just get on with racing and cut the polotics out
-
Bakes i am off to agm at grendon now but will contact steve d tomorrow as hes even nearer are you sure he makes crates?
-
i will give them a ring tomorrow kiddiminsters not too far from my office in redditch so can take a detour thanks
-
Anyone know where i can get some crates made for a trailer? pref someone in midlands sizes are 41inch by 35 inch by 11 inch thanks
-
Bakes mine are a blend of all of those lines and to be fair mine are better the further they go as i am not interested in short races and as i told you i dont keep any oldbirds that have not flown channel at least twice as yearlings the blacks have been most consistent over the years and have had only bird on day 3 times
-
good reliable pigeons my buschaerts have got pearson and dransfield, joe shore, ron williamson and the originals from little black and pluto via eddy keytes they are great pigeons good all rounders would reccomend the buschaerts to anyone they have stood test of time
-
Klaus dont have them out till the other lads around you have had theirs out or better still keep your eye out till you see it make a kill if its still bothering you the only other way is birds up road training back and in then hopefully the bop will move elsewhre for its regular meals one of my mates trains 25 miles every day and does not have them out at all free flying and he flies as good as anybody hope this helps

we are going friday, as regards prices lier market youngsters last yearthey were starting at around 20 euros up but deals could be had if buying a few, medications are cheaper if you know what your after most chemists will help you out, all best stan
-
josh as its your first time racing i think it is the ideal system for you as its very simple and also there are other bits you can add to it to motivate the ybs
-
roundabout is a very good system for oldbirds and is easy to manage especially if you want to maximise use of all your birds, for youngsters i would fly them on the sliding door method basically seperate the sexes and fly them to their own section but open the door on marking night and let them run together done properly the ybs fly well on this method all best stan
