  6. Unfair advantages have always been there, this gives us the initiative to put more of an effort into winning, or it does for me. If you get a bird fit, healthy & motivated he'll be there for you. So Keep trying that the way.Good luck for this year everyone (dizzy)

    Training

Lots of people say its to cold yet, some say about 14 degrees.
  12. I give multivits when arrive back on saturday, then plain water on sunday's, Monday - Garlic, Tue/wed - Cider vinigar, thur/Fri Plain water. This is my watering system. I do believe it helps with sour crop , Young bird sickness. Humans use these products and have shown to have good qualities I have had good results with this by topping NSFed x2 & several fed cards aswell with young birds.
  13. Why worry about 2-4 sec, buy a good toulet spend all winter working it then by summer you should know how it runs then you should be able to gain a good minute plus!!!! any system as it has been proved can be manipulated. Even T3's when first arrived they were found to have a fault that could stop the clock at anytime leaving the thimble still showing to be put in when bird came home.!!(evil)

  18. Rpra rule state that u have 2 run for 24 hours so we just doing a dummy race run! x(dizzy)
  19. Yes its the day indicater, when set should be on 7 the moves as the days go by.
  20. Make sure you stop the clock, by top right hand side of clock, slide this lever forward but make sure it not between 5 secs before the min and 5 sec after as it could stop in the wrong place. Then you alter the min hand with your finger but move the Hour hand by inserting the key in to the square on the front. Make sure the drum is fitted correctly, and the lid wont open if key isn't fully turned to the end.
  21. We have flagged our birds as we do like them to have an hours exercise, but we find it more beneficial on hard races. We tend to get better results than most by doing this. A friend of ours says if his pigeons do more than 20 mins then they are not dedicated to their nest box, so there's no definitive answer.(shrug)
  22. If you check the homing world it does state that they need to be run for 24 hours so we will be doing a dummie race.
  23. I really love the sport & Thanks lads for the encouragement, i will try my best just like any other year & if my efforts pay of then i'm happy as punch ;D
  24. Invest in a homing world lads it in there!
  25. I think that Unikon have lowered their prices a bit. (dizzy)
