Get all the member of all the Feds and Nationals that are split and race separately, and get back to 1 Fed and 1 National, for the sake of the future of our declining sporthttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif

as I have stated on a few occasions, this year has been my worst year ever, the first time I will not be called up to collect a trophy, why? simply did not put enough into them this year, so no one to blame but myself, I just lacked the motivation, and was near to calling it a dayhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif how ever, prior to this season I have held my own in club, and have topped the Fed, and section on the odd occasion. My widowers do tend to be the first team to reach the loft, and there for do not have the problem of landing with a natural hen. my widowers have always been good trappershttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/egyptian.gif just a bit behind the top men in the Fedhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0179-headbang.gif so I need to make an effort this season, and put a lot more work into my birds, and aim higher, and progress on last seasons results, which should not be too hard to achieve.http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/cry-blow.gif

I fly 12 widowhood cocks to one loft and 9 pair of naturals to an adjoining loft. I find the widowers a lot easier to manage, ie, out for 1hr flying morning and evening, and can go to the race every weekhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gif how ever, although I believe natural to be suited to the chanel races, it is more time consuming, and birds due to nest condition may or may not go to races. Also, if you loose a cock/hen, then their partner can be affected. JMO Also once racing has started, I do not train my widowers, but continue to train my natural team. But I do still fly both systemshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0126-nerd.gif

Just wondering, there is currently a thread regarding outstanding birds/winners. Well can members name top winning birds that have went on to be breeders of winners? Who are they, and what have they bred?
