Good Club though Big Man with good doo men

You have read it right, it is the Club's performances, perhaps I didn't make that clear enough. Have edited my original post to make it a bit clearer. Colin.

Now that the race season is well behind us I thought I'd take the opportunity to highlight my Club members (myself included) young bird performances from the 7 Federation races, top 20 positions only........ Week 1 - 1st, 3rd, 7th, 9th, 17th, 19th. Week 2 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 17th. Week 3 - 1st, 2nd, 5th, 10th, 11th, 18th & 19th. Week 4 - 3rd, 6th, 12th & 19th. Week 5 - 4th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th & 20th. Week 6 - 3rd, 7th, 8th & 15th. Week 7 - 3rd, 4th, 6th, 13th, 16th & 18th. Plus the highest position from the SNFC Yb National being 22nd Open, with a further 8 birds making the result. In my eyes, that's a pretty good Club effort. jmo Colin.

Although I had a few in this years yb team that were very consistent, I'd have to say that my 1st timer from the YB National stands out from the rest. Pretty much the smallest in the loft she still managed to achieve the following prizes from the last three races - 1st Club, 3rd Fed Ripon. 13th Open, 23rd Combine Wakefield. 3rd Fed, 4th Region, 22nd Open SNFC YB National Leicester 2,378 birds. Well chuffed with her efforts :egyptian: Colin.

It wasn't a bad wee attempt by the youngsters that me & Jumbo entered - HS 1 - 84th / 611 birds HS 2 - 86th / 619 birds HS 3 - 13th / 616 birds HS 4 - 28th / 561 birds Final Race - 40th / 520 birds It would've been nice to win it, but still pleased with the birds.........just have to try harder next year. Thanks guys, well chuffed with today's race. More so because the winning bird wasn't a Gaby, it's bred from a strain of birds I had years ago and have just recently brought back in again because they were so bloody good for me and my dad in the mid 80's. Hopefully there are plenty more where that came from. Colin.

My PB Breeder/Buyer is still going strong, in fact he should be well in the Fed from last week. He has been in the first drop just about every yb race so far, but there's a few miles to fly yet. The good thing is, I bought my own one

Well, the final race is just about here.......this weekend is the BIG ONE!!!!!! How many of the members have still got birds left? I see there are only 522 birds remaining, a wee bit away from the 1000 that started. I'm not complaining as me and my big mate Jumbo have still got two left. :egyptian: You never know, it could be a PB member that takes top spot and all the dosh that goes with it £££££££ Good luck to all that are competing.
