Hi Sorry to jump in on this post but i wondered if anybody could tell me anything about my uncle who raced birds several years ago. Jake Millar from Grangemouth, I do not know how well he did at racing but i was told when he gave them up his birds were sold onto Jock Reid and the Ogilvie family. Hi You have nothing to worry about as the bird is in perfect condition, I show birds and when i see mine like this l know they are perfect, whatever you are giving them keep doing it. Scotty M

Hi, I have a show bird and it has a stain on both wing shields, I think it is an oily greast type stain. I have tried washing it with soapy water and it has slightly improved it, does anybody have any good ideas or remedy for this i have it entered in a show this weekend. The bird is a powder blue bar so it shows up bad. Scotty M

Hi Folks I have been on holiday for the past 2 weeks and when my birds have been getting trained and at the 1st race from coldstream last Saturday i have suffered several losses (40 approx), all birds should be wing stamped 01324 483064. A few people have left a message on the answer machine but omitted to leave a contact number so unfortunatly i cannot return the calls to collect my 2 birds. I would aprreciate if any body gets any of my birds in to give me a call and i will collect a,s,a,p, as this is my first year racing and i want have some birds left to breed from and race as yearlings. Most birds will be rung SU 10 NW. Scotty M

Thanks for that m8, I will give them call tomorrow to arrange things, I actually live in Falkirk but work in Dunfermline and thought it would be best getting them delivered to ma work. This will be my first year racing so i am really looking forward to it as i have had the show birds for the last 6 year, just hope percy does not wipe me out in the first year :'( Scotty M
