My new loft for pen training my birds for the shows.

I have talked to headquarters and although not confirmed it looks like 2 libs Tullamore and Rosscrea, lib line will be updated at 9 pm tomorrow.

This is very possible. I know that D E and G and Ligoniel are definatley in Rosscrea, not sure about F

NIPA will liberate in mass this weekend not sure if its Tullamore or Rosscrea.

Beautiful morning in N Ireland, had my birds 25 miles, lib at 5.50am home at 6.18am.

I sold my dads team of Delbars in Blackpool 2009. These were Steve Stokers and John Crowders crossed. We raced them for the first time in 2008 and got them as far as 230 miles as Ybs. They are super looking pigeons and have excellent feather quality. Mostly powder blue and blue pieds with some cheqs, alot of people said we could not get them past the yard gate but i am very hard with Ybs and they got 25 tosses before the first race and got almost every race in Yb programme. Vallance Lofts is Stokers agent and was a great help to me running up to the sale. He knows all about Steves birds. I had a Delbar cross J L Roberts which flew France into Ireland last year and also a Yb in the money from Talbenny Yb National so they can race. Alot of guys from the sale have phoned me to say they are very happy with the Ybs bred this year. Alot of credit must go to Steve for keeping the Delbar bloodlines going.

29 tosses before first race last Sat. 3 x 5 mile 3 x 10 mile 20 x 25 miles and 1 at 35 miles. Started with 40 had 39 in first race and lost 5????

IHU 09 N are blue rings - liberated in Navan at 08.30 I got 23/30 - pigeons were well trained and healthy??? All club members seem to be the same, we were in Tullamore 103 miles. Section F of the NIPA has aparently suffered big losses on Saturday also.

If the birds have a serious lice or mite problem, splash a drop on them, it does absoloutley no harm and clears infestation in a couple of hours. I have been doing this now for 3 years and no side effects at all.

There is no decision made basketing tonight. The meeting will not take place until 8.30pm tonight which indicates that there will definatley be no basketing tonight. Some web sites are telling us the wrong information. I have spoken to head quarters and they have confirmed this. Lib line will be updated tonight around 9pm. SL

I agree, i hamper at 9pm at night and liberate at 6am next morning. Started with 40 and have 39 left - 29 tosses so far up to 35 miles. Good luck Blue Tooner i am sure you will get alot more today.

Does anyone know who would have this strain of pigeons? Must be the black velvets.

I give the birds 3 cap fulls per bath as the first thing they do is take a drink. It is also good for them inside as well as outside.

Sat would suit me too, Sunday looks the better day plus i would get an extra toss tomorrow.

Cider Vinegar. 87p per bottle.

Forcast for Sat is not good. Maybe hamper on Sat evening. Lib line is usually updated at around 9pm.

Seen one in Dublin Show last year - Blue Cheq on one side and Red Cheq on the other. Also know a guy had one the same.
