  1. Longdell lofts AKA Mick Bray will have Kirkys for sale.
  2. I will have 18 racers going covering classes up to 400 miles flown.
  3. I have the white plastic type fitted at the bottom along the front every 6 feet, at the back the loft has a 6" overlap of a roof which is open to allow the stale air out. The vents at the front have a protective cover over them to stop rain etc, but are raised of the vents so the air can still get in.
  4. 2 Peregrines have decided once again to nest in the Moira area N Ireland. These birds have hit my pigeons the last 2 times they were out, killing on the second visit. The birds are now confined to the loft. The peregrines have hit many batches on race days, particularly the batches heading towards the Ballymena area as we are in their line of flight, and they have also hit the Fed pigeons on occasions. This is another new pair to the area as the last pair dissappeared??. Any fanciers concerned or want to know more can send me a pm. They were last spotted at 8.30am yesterday morning where i seen them fly for 15 mins before dropping. They are located in the Maralin quarry area. Best looked at now as opposed to March or April.
  5. 35 R/Bout Cocks 35 R/Bout Hens - expected to go from first race to last race. Normally 100 ybs but this year im trying only 50 all on the dark.
  6. Cheers lads. Site looks great.
  7. New to the forum, E Wright from just outside Moira N Ireland. I race now in Lurgan and my main line of birds after January will be P Martins Bucchearts. We have been fairly successful racing in 2008 but should be better 2009 when the team is cut. Looking foward to making any contributions i can to the forum. I will be posting a note of warning regarding peregrins shortly which will effect members birds in the Moira, Lisburn areas. Great site, i have enjoyed reading some of the threads.
