well a lot of what you say is correct,but the financial side and making any money from doos has never crossed my mind,competition and friendship and a wee bit of glory are my goals as well as a love for the doos.jmo

bang on mate,a lot of doomen on pigeon basics speak with forked tongue,i must admit i am sometimes embarrassed by an element in the scottish fancy,i myself have taken a few kickings lately but will carry on with our great sport and let the doos do the talking. :) ;)

yep raced against jack in the 70s 80s and 90s and boy could he race the doos,and yes we trained and raced south but times have changed and so must we as fanciers and make sure that every effort is made for a good start to the racing old and youngbirds. :) ;)

yes very poor from scotland,maybe time for george burley to step down,the under21s were winning 4 0 away from home,jamie murphy with a double.

have reared a wee gang of between 10 and 15 l/breds for donkeys years,these birds are trained year of birth most days from anywhere the family go,they are raced to 250 miles as yearlings and all races including scottish national flying club up to 550mls as 2 yr olds,and yes we have had some success with these l/breds. ;)

yes barley wheat and some mixture,they look great on it and can win the big shows in december!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

my dad used poultry spice most of the year back in the old days,today i use a mineral mix bought in tub form which includes poultry spice. used all year.
