  2. lewis a fancier in Kilsyth sent birds to Rennes with the BBC or BICC as recently as 1992 1993,he sent 3,lost 1,1 reported in cumbria and 1 home after a week 550 miles :)

  13. DEFINATELY A LEGEND GEO. rumour was that an open topped bus travelled through Croy with the Nash Bros and the GOLD CUP,this was the attention a fancier got with a national win in the sixties, :) the glory years.

  16. lets hope this helps wuldon,i am scratching ma heid with this one as i thought the ethos of a one loft race to be fair to all competing fanciers "all for one and one for all"mentality :( only my opinion.

  23. not actually sure about rev sam ovens,think he retired to crieff,maybe someone on here knows?? jim rintoul great guy though. :)
  24. was a good wee watch lewis,remember being in front of the national committee with a problem with one of our ring nos,the rev sam was in the chair and common sense prevailed,i had a sweat on though with the thought of looseing a nat ticket and a few quid. :D
