My two Alencon candidates went down the tubes from woolaston last week,i am trying to re direct something else as i dont like to miss the gold cup race.

Surely must be the biggest team sent from the one loft in lanarkshire.Good stuff and all the best.

Wullie i fully understand that the fanciers racing from the east Side are getting it tough also. I also understand that losses are part and parcel of pigeon racing and have been since pigeon racing began and always will be from wherever you race them from. My OPINION on the subject is made up from experience gained from 40 years of continuous pigeon racing and also from experience gained from other genuine fanciers who have the welfare of the pigeons as top priority.

The proof is there to be seen expletive remove just look in your dookit and see whats no there and were no at the nitty gritty end yet.Totally disagree with this running up the side of the pennines and dog legging stuff The ETA on the east route was usually bang on so that would suggest to me that the pigeons were coming straight as possible. I think the more pigeon Traffic on a route these days is a good thing the predators have more choice so theres a good chance you doos will get a clean run. THE TERRAIN on the east route is more kinder to the pigeons less BOPs and less suitable habitat for them thats a FACT you canny argue with that.As for the Airport thing we have had good old bird racing from the east route so once again it would suggest to me that Airports are not a problem i think thats in your imagination.It would appear to me you have a fear of Airplanes and bermuda triangles in your comments i think its safe enough these days Gareth.

Your correct mate the west is the worst possible route to race pigeons.
