  2. There's a jet propelled pigeon in the NFC today from Fougeres S.Harrison & son from Bradford are currently first doing 2982 YPM 101 mph .
  3. Beautiful day here in Portsmouth, a bit of a blustery SW wind but perfect visibility. Went to the Portsmouth lib site this morning where 13 transporters were parked. Watched several thousand NW birds being liberated at 8.00 in very good conditions. Here's a few photos, will put more on later.

  8. You get an A4 size notification form, clearly typed with all the details of the transfer on it, a thousand times better than the old duplicates you could hardly read.
  9. Here's Bob Rose's small loft. Bob is 70yr old, not in the best of health, only keeps a small team but he's still as keen as he can be.

  14. I don't know how much of a novice you are with pigeons, but you have to master the arts of feeding,care & control before you think about racing. I have a few basic books which may be of help depending on your level of knowledge.

  24. Perhaps we could get a table of comparisons for each system and tick the boxes. What ETS systems will the master work with, What rings will it read, how do you get, say, a Bricon master to read a Unikon pocket clock, do we need adaptor leads or connectors. Are the rings re-useable Is Unikon the only system approved in Scotland?
  25. Surely, if this is the case, then the Bricon system in its present form is not approved by the RPRA and shouldn't be advertised for sale in this country for racing purposes.
