  1. I use Moxidectin for worms and parasites.
  2. Just got my basket from Boddy & Ridewood,(ordered 12th March) certainly looks good and fits in the car a treat. Well pleased.
  3. Here,s a view of my loft locality using http://local.live.com Type in my post code PO4 8PS , then zoom in to Edgeware Rd. Click on to Birds-Eye option. My house is on the North Side, end of terrace, with my white van outside. My loft is L-shaped at the bottom of the garden painted cedar red. Fratton Park is just to the West of me. Any other locations?
  4. You can still do that with ETS, just 'swipe' your birds over the sensor, saves you having to drag a rubber ring off. Fanciers who fly open door might want to have that option rather than widowhood cocks fighting on a trap.
  5. Is it available on BBC2 in England, it's not in my TV schedule list.
  6. There is nothing stopping you using it for training, and if you are supplying the club equipment you should be able to use it in the club, I think the system is self setting time-wise.
  7. don't give me ideas andy!
  8. Portsmouth 13.00 Sun, Lt SW wind ,good visibility. Just testing.
  9. I'm a bit off line Tammy to be of any use, but put this website in your favourites, it could be of use. (it's one I posted earlier) http://wdworldmap.com/europe3.html
  10. Very professional, Colin. lovely birds & lofts. Well worth a browse. Where do you get the Sputnik ETS inserts?
  11. Thanks for the info, I,ll send my order off now.
  12. Anybody bought one of Boddy & Ridewood's 'cheaper 'baskets, the ones advertised in this weeks BHW. I'm looking at the 18-23 size £69.95.
  13. I have just received a quote from Unikon for the Unikon Champ 5/03/07, any more info? Surely they're not trying to sell an un-approved system.
  14. Certainly hope so! Never won a card with my YBs.
  15. Paul, Go to www.racingpigeon.co.uk In the book section, it costs £44.00
  16. Kev, do yourself a favour and get a copy of Dave Allen 'The Widowhood Year' It will tell you all you need to know about Widowhood, The Widowhood bible for those new to this method of racing. Mick
  17. Mine was down like NANCYVIEWLOFTS
  18. It,s for pigeons, Westy. COMED produce a range of pigeon specifics.
  19. It's in a 30ml bottle with a dropper and you put 1 drop daily on the skin. That's as much as I know.
  20. Anyone used this, and more importantly what's it supposed to do.
  21. If anyone wants to use ETS in a Club that hasn't got a master then surely it's up to that member to supply the appropiate equipment. When the T3s came on the market individual fanciers had to supply their own printers.
  22. Hi Ian, I am surprised that you have to manually load the times in, I was hoping there would be direct transfer of some sort. I was hoping that the ETS companies would have software compatiable with existing race programs. i think there is a program in America called Winspeed (I think) which works with ETS. Surely there must be a suitable program available somewhere.
  23. If ETS means that disabled people will be able to compete in a sport on an equal footing with able-bodied people then surely this should be a positive move for the Pigeon fraternity. We should be able to attract members from the ranks of the disabled who would love to be able to compete genuinely with no allowances having to be made. The sport of pigeon racing can be very fulfilling to people with severe disabilities, Jed Jackson was a great example, along with Rabbie Stoddart, and if ETS opens the door on the world of Pigeon Racing for people with disabilities then perhaps this news shouldn't be greeted with as much doom and gloom as we are reading.
  24. How does ETS tie in with existing Race computer programs, what software comes with the system? Does it calculate Averages, Pools & Points etc. What Race programs are in use in Scotland? I would like to know because I am considering purchasing a new Computer Race program for the Club and I would like it to be compatiable with ETS if needed.
  25. Solent starts on the 21st April, first race from Kingsdown then the rest of the OB are over the Channel (hopefully)
