  10. Thanks very much John, Yes it helps, All comments will be listened to and taken into consideration i want to make this a sucess so i am putting the welfare of the pigeons, and fanciers needs before anything else. I am not just going ahead, making a set of rules, And then say here you go like it or lump it. I will base it on what people want, I dont expect to make any money out of it in the first year.
  11. cheers for the comments Kevin, they have been noted :-)

  15. Cheers for the input :-)
  16. thanks, is that with your own birds, Would you enter if they were from a single source?
  17. You mean for the fianl race mate? If so will be looking at newton abbot or eastbourne, or east prawle. newton abbot, approx 185 eastbourne 202 approx. east prawle approx 200 depending on if they go with the fed, or on there own, Again what would people prefer, a lib with over 1000 other birds for the final race, or up on there own? Depends wether fed would let me aswell :-)
  18. Cheers Phil, I do agree about testing your birds on a level playing field, I want to try and keep as many people as i can happy :-) would you consider entering?
  19. Wasnt much of a solid answer to the question about it was it andy?? And like the ugly picture of a Mr Burgess on page 72 :-) ;D Do you ever smile ??
  20. Thanks for your input Alan :-)
  21. Have take all your comments on board, and thought them over!!! What are peoples thoughts on me using birds from 1 source, and not sending there own birds? would stop alot of the hassle with birds from everywhere=problems. would people still enter if it were not there birds being raced? Again any positives or negatives, I am happy to go with the majority, Also think that the starting off smaller would be a good idea, maybe 150/200 birds. I better walk before i can run. keep the ideas coming either on here or by pm. thanks

  23. Its not all about running costs mate, not to me anyway, i expect to make a loss first year, but hopefully everyone will be happy , so they will join again in the second year, and spread the word :-) Obviously i wont be paying out the figures some do, But will still be a four figure some in the final race depending on entries. im confident of running it at these costs if all goes to plan, got 1 or 2 sponsors in the pipeline.
  24. Cheers tony, have alread spoke to a vet regarding it, but that is a far as it has gone yet. And there would be a website, Updated frequently :-)
  25. Would be none of that here, would be £35/40 max per bird, all activated from the start, all competing. Nice and simple :-)
