Cheers for that Kevin. im worried sick now of letting them out!! ;D yes i do have hawks, And a few wires, And yes guaranteed i will lose a few, But For £40 a bird if people can send 2/3 birds, there is a good chance they will have 1 or 2 left come the final race. please keep the ideas, and any thoughts anyone might have, the more ideas i get the easier it will be for me to try and please the majority when i come to do the (boring) rules and regs bit later in the year,
Has anyone thought how they would prefer the prize money to be paid? think off the top of my head there will be 6 yb races in total, would people prefer say 5 small prizes for 5 winners of the first 5 races, then bigger amounts for top 5 in last race? or just 1 bigger cash prize for the last race?
If i get my maximum 100 birds, at £40 per bird gives us £4000, minus maximum £300 for race fees, and £200 put aside incase of any hiccups, (medications i may require) And get a couple of sponsors involved. (my driving school for 1)
so say we have got £4000 prize fund in total. You tell me what you would like doing, After all its your birds, your money, your enjoyment, :-)
