glad you mentioned ( the what happend to the birds bit mate :-) like i say will be totally upfront with any questions asked. at the end the birds will be auctioned off on here, Money will be split 40% to the breeder, 40% to me, and 20% to a pigeon related charity, to be decided by whom i dont know yet. If no bids on the birds i will keep them and race them :-) i think that is fair, As all the enterant money will be paid out in prize money( no cut attall for me) But again if people dont like the idea of this then please say on open forum. i have had confirmation off valance and fifer that i can call it the pigeonbasics oneloftrace. So many thanks to them :-) Main thing it will be fun, and will see how your birds get on against others, And for £40 i think is great value, for the bird to be fed,trained, (cared for) raced everyweek, and even the chance to win a few hundred quid :-). What you got to lose? :-)

Cheers for that Kevin. im worried sick now of letting them out!! ;D yes i do have hawks, And a few wires, And yes guaranteed i will lose a few, But For £40 a bird if people can send 2/3 birds, there is a good chance they will have 1 or 2 left come the final race. please keep the ideas, and any thoughts anyone might have, the more ideas i get the easier it will be for me to try and please the majority when i come to do the (boring) rules and regs bit later in the year, Has anyone thought how they would prefer the prize money to be paid? think off the top of my head there will be 6 yb races in total, would people prefer say 5 small prizes for 5 winners of the first 5 races, then bigger amounts for top 5 in last race? or just 1 bigger cash prize for the last race? If i get my maximum 100 birds, at £40 per bird gives us £4000, minus maximum £300 for race fees, and £200 put aside incase of any hiccups, (medications i may require) And get a couple of sponsors involved. (my driving school for 1) so say we have got £4000 prize fund in total. You tell me what you would like doing, After all its your birds,your money, your enjoyment, :-)

Appreciate that mate, and have considered all the downsides, but ultimately i want it to be fun and rewarding for the fancier, and at 100 birds max, im sure i could cope with a little help :-) No offence taken frank, i will listen to any ones views :-)

No problem, Everything will be transparent here, updates daily. Appreciate you dont know or trust me, but i can assure anyone it will be run for the fancier, i will not take any money out of the entry fees :-) Will all be paid in prize money minus, bird entry fees to fed races :-)
