dull and damp here, rained most of the night, birds will be going training this afternoon, went 18 miles yesterday in the hail stones ( was bright sunshine when let up) beat us home, Got a blow out on the car aswell, massive pot hole!!! wrecked my alloy, oh the joys :-) :-)

A year lasts a year tammy ya fool Glad you and liz are happy, When i first told the wife i was getting pigeons... she was like what!!!! didnt really care, or would not come down if they were out, as she thought they were going to land on her and attack her, like an alfred hitchcock moment. lol. 5 years later, she feeds them cleans them out, rings the babies, occasionally catches them. And without her i would not be able to keep them. And as my lofts are 3 miles from my house, She puts up with alot from me, As from april till sept she never sees me on a saturday :-)

i have had birds gifted to me by stuart when i started up, a son of is hopefully going to tarbes this year :-) top man is stuart, He wont be happy when i beat him with his own birds in section L :-)

they were my sons latebreds mate, so not to worried, they beat us home from 12 miles today, in east wind, and rain

took all ours, today at 13.30, 12 miles, was chucking it down and east wind, cleared straight away, and all 24 of them were in when we got back, very pleased :-)

i would say those times were good mate, depends on the wind etc etc, took mine an hour from a 4 miler! ;D

at work also, and bitterly cold wind, was a touch of frost this a.m. Think the birds will have to have it later if no rain!! 10 miles will do em in this :-)
