  2. i had 2 bird off tammy in 2007, both birds went to niort as yearling last year, 500 miles, cock got killed by wires round home this year, he prized once or twice in club, the hen is being prepared for tarbes roughly 600 mile later on this year.

Hi all, just a bit of a puzzler for me, im not in any way taking away the fantastic performance of g williams who won 1st and 2nd open, great performance, but i was just looking at the result in the homing world, and i might be wrong, but i thought the birds cant be timed on exactly the same velocity??what would have happend if they had been from seperate lofts on exaxt same velocity? and what would have happened had they been pooled? how would you determine a true winner? as both birds are exact? and you arnt allowed 2 time 2 birds into the same t3? please dont think im trying to start an argument or anything, just a bit confused, and wanting someone to put me straight. cheers

  14. good question, mine faces south as thats what i was told to do, but cant see it makes that much difference really, i just know with all the stong south winds of late, it does get a bit wetter!

  25. from 100 miles min would be 35 m.p.h in a head wind, upto a max of nearly 80 m.p.h, that some feds were getting near last weekend! of course there could be exceptions, before any 1 quotes me :-)
