I went back to the lost and found thread and saw your origanel posting the missing letter I believe is S,the ring was issued to the PORT TALBOT CLUB.Ring M.JONES on 01639886039,he will give you the owners name.

There is a letter missing between the first 9 and second 0,let me know what it is then I can tell where its from.

I certainly wouldnt go again tonight they need a day or two to get over their ordeal.Surely there cannot be many races left now how far is the one this weekend,if you are trying to get a team around you I would forget the racing this year and just keep them training on good days.

Personally if they have had 2 100 races I cant see the point still training them 60 miles in the week.If you are going to have yearlings for next year I would cut down a bit on the distance,its like giving them a race in the week also.

Sounds as if you have enough ventilation to me,but cant explain why the smoke didnt go out better.

Only the one loft clocking system gives you fractions of a second though,the printoffs we get only shows hour,min,sec,so if 2 birds have the same time you will have 2 birds with the same velocity.

What I,m trying to show to you is this,you ask for the ring number of the bird or the seller put it up on the thread you wouldnt except 12345 if you got any sence,so you get the whole number GB 2009 A 12345 no problems can arrise then.

IF they gave you the full ring number GB 2009. A.12345 which I think anyone would they would have a job to have one with a Identical ring.

There is no problem with that so long as you get the bird that you think your getting,I have personally picked pigeons up from someone who was selling on here and taken them to the new owner,the first thing he said when taken one of them out of the box was" Thats not the bird than was in the picture,"and that was an occasion when ring numbers were not shown on the origanal sale.

Dont want to turn this into any arguments but how can someone sell you a differant bird if the ring number is quoted,there are still certain conditions I believe must be kept to on here doesnt matter who,s selling the birds.

I think this is something that a lot of people might think is wrong but say nothing, personally I would say that this should be a condition of sale especially on a site like this that ring numbers should be shown.I,m not suggesting for one moment that there could be a problem but it is something that I would like to see.

As long as they are in a crate on their own shouldnt be a problem,but make sure they dont go in with the old birds.

No up to date results on there,they were nearly 10 years ago some of them,does he still do well.
