Surprise Surprise just been notified there is a update 26/1/10 to the club programme supposed to make things even easier for the secretary,have downloaded it but cant see any changes yet.

I believe that one of the OLD HAND specifics from years ago was found to be made up of mainly bicarbonate of soda,think it was the White Sesqui tablets which was given to birds going lite.

Maybe in some cases not such a stupid rule,have known people lose a race trying to get 2 rubbers in the same thimble.

Just payed mine today for sorting last years Tax.

I,M after a 4 or 6 field one if the price is right.

If you dont want to breed of either of the birds and they seem happy together leave them and use them as feeders,swop their eggs for something you want to breed off perhaps just swopping 1 egg and changing the other for a pot egg and rearing single yongsters in each nest.

I think its a case of each to their own,you will probably get a differant answear from everyone but if you have a feeding system that suits your birds and they are performing well then stick to it.

Any local club can now act as a clock station so long as there is someone who is prepared to set the clocks and fill out the paperwork and post off,obviously if members use Ets this is set at the marking and it just needs someone to take a printoff after the race.

DO you know of anyone who as the phone interface that actually as it working,or is there anyone on here who as that facility on their Bricon.

Forgot to add there is also the filling out of paperwork and posting it off that needs doing so as long as you have someone in your club that is prepared to do it then no problem.

Yes, as we have members in the BBC who are in our club and I read the clocks off etc for them.

If you go onto the differant sites ie. NFC,BICC,BBC,CSCFC,MNFC,MCC,UNC,they usually do write ups of the winners and there may be photo,s on there of the winners of the big races but dont think there is a specific catalogue of the winners only ones that some organisations put out in their handbook.

Might be some use I know that the WECA is the West of England Continental Amalgamation,you could look in the ring list and see what club the ring was issued to,then find out off the secretary whose bird it was and then contact him for more info,might work out.

Baskets come in all sizes I dont think there is a standard height,an old one which I have is 11-1/2 inches.

I know John Wheatcroft won both the eye sign classes,to be honest they were the only classes I bothered to check.

Sure I read in one of last weeks mags.that they wouldnt be there this year.

Must say I have had Bricon for nearly 4 years now and I am very pleased with it, normally Mark Palmer will sort things out straight away but I understand how you feel but it does seem as if its only the systems with the phone interface that are not working properly.

Must be correct then,did you not ask at the time you bought it that it would work,but then as you say you were told it wouldnt work until the next updates.
