Absolutely pouring down with thunder and lightning when some of them arrived,was there to see the first 50 home,good to see the winner come on his own rather than one big bunch then its a lottery as to whose traps first,was nice to get one of our sydicate birds home aswell in 25th position.

Birds liberated at 07.30 into a light SSE wind all the best.

Today is the final race for the 541 Young Birds in the RPRA One Loft from ALNWICK around 236miles,birds should be liberated any time now,best of luck to anyone who as birds in the final,we have 3 which go under Malvern Maestros.

Most of the bigger organisations have these races every year with separate results in fact the National Flying Club are racing today from Coutences (France)old hens and young birds competing,only sent 5 young birds myself but we have other members in our local club that have sent old birds to.

How about if the guy who lost the bird says to the guy who finds it you can keep it if you like,so the finder puts a ETS ring on it and sends it training to see if the bird will keep coming to his loft before he gets it transferred,bird gets lost gets reported to original owner.

Yes,but you would have to get your secretary or whoever allocates your rings to your birds to reallocate it to one of yours.

Just heard from the guy who bred it,new owner is Mr.Peter Sweeney of Fife if anyone knows him tel.number is 01383 515256.

This ring was issued to a member in our club I,ve left him a message to say you have it.

Just picked up a blue bar rung SU.14.P.5232 from a local factory anyone recognise the ring or tell me which club its from,bird a bit thin but not injured.

Club mates got 4 away approx 630 miles to him near Worcester.

Are there no rules in the SHU that cover this like we have in the RPRA.
