Our birds were held over until yesterday from Carentan but didnt do them any harm as I managed to secure 1st and 2nd place in the club with 4 of my 5 entries back so well pleased.
Havn,t received any email yet,give me the details mate and I,ll see what I can do although I,m taking someone to Southampton tomorrow so wont be around till late afternoon.
Anybody race from here yesterday,I heard some feds released but ours decided to hold because of the high winds in the channel,still waiting for them to go today.
We are racing from Carentan this week must admit the weather as NEVER stopped me from sending,I will look through the birds tomorrow night before basketing and select what I think are in the best condition,wind rain or the talk of anything else makes no diferance.
3 already gone to the National Flying Clubs race from Fougeres just under 267miles to me,our club race with the Severn Valley Fed is from West Bay this week will probably send about 10,98 miles this one.
I guess you have bred off her in the past is she breeding anything any good, only you know best really as if she,s breeding the goods I would retire her if not keep racing her she might pick up a few more positions.
Is it possible for you to contain the bird say in a cardboard box or something if you can it may be possible to get someone local to you to pick it up,but you must have it contained.
